A round-up of the latest Leeds United headlines this evening
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims Leeds United are closing in on a deal to sign Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara. The Whites have been repeatedly linked with a move for the Finland international but Rangers boss Michael Beale had played down talk of an immediate departure.
Drameh has been tipped to establish himself as the main right-back at Elland Road this summer after shining on loan with Luton Town last year. However, an early injury has kept him out of the early part of the campaign and he was thrust back into the deep end at Portman Road. Sam Byram picked up a knock in the win over the Tractorboys, just when it looked as though the injury situation at Elland Road was improving. The arrival of Joel Piroe strengthens the Whites' options in the final third, but they're still light in midfield.
“It was a great game that could have gone either way, and I certainly feel we could have scored more goals than what we did,” McKenna told TownTV. “I thought we were the better team for 90% of the game and in most departments of it, and there were a lot of positives to take and lots of things to build on.
