Leeds United's summer transfer money looks to have been well spent as Daniel Farke's side push towards the top of the Championship
It won’t have escaped your notice that Leeds United’s three goals against Watford were scored by new summer signings. Joel Piroe, who already has four to his name in white, Sam Byram and Jaidon Anthony were the trio of players who found the back of the net for Daniel Farke’s side at Elland Road on a joyous afternoon.

It was a signing that seemed to make sense for so many reasons and despite playing in a slightly deeper role than what he was used to in South Wales, he has hit the back of the net in every other game so far.
Glen Kamara more than looked the part on his first start on Saturday and while Anthony is still waiting for his first start, he caught the eye off the bench against the Hornets with his ability on the edge of the box. Leeds knew they needed to give Farke the right tools to do the job amid expectations of bouncing back to the Premier League at the first time of asking and the early indications seem to be promising.
