With Christmas just around the corner, it is about time that we get some snow to really amp up the festive atmosphere. Well, towards the end of next week, most parts of Yorkshire will see a few light flurries.
It is set to be a mostly dry and cool week, with parts of the county enjoying some sunny intervals and a low chance of rain. On Friday, though, we will see some light snowfall arrive. According to BBC Weather, the snow will only stick around for that one day and is likely to be very light, so we are not expecting the country to grind to a halt. It may be just enough to give everything a Christmassy dusting, before the weather returns to normal on the weekend.For Leeds, the snowy weather is forecast to hit during the morning and into the early afternoon.
