A trial of globe sculptures decorated by 10 artists is to be displayed at locations around Leeds.
A series of globe sculptures will be displayed as part of an exhibition dedicated to promoting racial justice and equality.The sculpture trail, aims to educate people about issues such as the slave trade and the contribution of black culture to modern Britain.
"The trails will be the centre of a broader education and engagement programme, with hundreds of schools, community groups, sporting and cultural institutions across the country".The organisers of the sculpture trail said this is "a key moment for racial justice and it calls on us to courageously face our shared history"
One of the artists behind the project is Yinka Shonubare, who is also creating a sculpture dedicated to the memory of David Oluwale, which will be unveiled in 2023, according to the
