LeBron James My Focus Has Shifted Back To Current Roster After Missing On Kyrie Irving Trade - RealGM Wiretap
LeBron James clearly wanted the Los Angeles Lakers to trade for Kyrie Irving, but he publicly revealed he's already moved on following Sunday's trade between the Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks.
"I can't sit here and say I'm not disappointed on not being able to land such a talent, but [also] someone that I had great chemistry with and know I got great chemistry with on the floor that can help you win championships," James told ESPN's Michael Wilbon as part of a wide-ranging interview Monday."In my mind, in my eyes [Irving would help win championships in L.A.].
"But my focus is shifted now. My focus is shifted back to where it should be and that's this club now and what we have in the locker room." The Lakers made an offer to the Nets for Irving centered on Russell Westbrook and first round picks in 2027 and 2029.
