Netflix has quite a few big movies coming out in the latter half of this year, but one with a very impressive cast is Leave The World Behind. People love a good 'The World Is Ending' movie because it distracts from the fact that the world might actually be ending around us in reality. This time, we aren't dealing with aliens or asteroids that will end life on Earth as we know it, but a cyberattack destroying our connections and the technology we are far too dependent on.
This and the previously released teaser look promising, and maybe that will be enough for people to check it out when it drops on Netflix in December, should they already have an active subscription. Will it be enough to get new subscribers or get people to reactivate? That remains to be seen.
