update 14.11 have been released and they make a number of big changes, with nerfs coming to top champions such as Camille and Jinx , as well as lane swapping.
When it comes to non champion changes in the patch notes, the biggest change comes in the form of a significant nerf to lane swapping. The practice of lane swaps has beenquite a lot this season, and while Riot says it is something they don’t mind, they want it to be a riskier proposition. So to make that happen, the damage reduction on the mid and top turrets for the first 5 minutes has been increased to 75% and the first turret gold has been increased from 150 to 300. The hope is that these changes will disincentivize teams from trying a lane swap in all but the most favorable situations.proved to be way too strong. Now her firepower is being decreased to bring her back in line with other top laners, with her Q move speed and R on hit-damage all being nerfed significantly.
Jinx is another champ to get a reasonably big nerf in the 14.11 patch notes, but on paper it doesn’t look as big as it should. The only change coming her way is that her attack damage growth is going from 3.15 to 2.9, which while significant might not be as big a nerf as she deserves. One of the reasons for this is that Infinity Edge is also getting a 10% crit damage nerf, which should also bring Jinx down a notch.
