The House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations ensures continued funding for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s legacy projects as soon as it begins the discussion on the Palace’s proposed P6.325 trillion National Expenditure Program for 2025.
“We will also ensure that vital sectors like education, healthcare, infrastructure, and social services receive adequate funding to improve the quality of life of all Filipinos,” he added.The NEP is the basis for the House’s filing of the General Appropriations Bill , or the proposed national budget.“We are committed to ensure that the 2025 budget addresses the essential needs of our citizens, promotes sustainable development, and drives our nation towards progress and prosperity,” he said.
