Tensions were reportedly rising on January 3, the first day of Congress this year, between Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert.
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, on the left, departs a closed-door GOP caucus meeting at the U.S. Capitol on January 10 in Washington, D.C. On the right, Representative Lauren Boebert is seen during the fourth day of elections for speaker of the House at the U.S. Capitol on January 6 in Washington, D.C.
During their conversation in the ladies' room, Greene reportedly questioned Boebert's loyalty to McCarthy, and moments later, the Colorado representative stormed out."You were OK taking millions of dollars from McCarthy but you refuse to vote for him for speaker, Lauren?" Greene reportedly said during her conversation with Boebert, according to The Daily Beast.
"And so when she started going after me, I looked at her and said, 'Don't be ugly,'" Boebert explained, adding that she told the Georgia representative that she didn't"have time for this."
