Great Britain runner Laura Muir was comforted by her fellow athletes after she broke down following the final of the women's 1500m on Tuesday at the World Athletics Championships where she failed to take first place, instead coming sixth.
Laura was then comforted by her team-mates Katie Snowden and Melissa Courtney-Bryant as she choked up live on air after the race. Kenya’s Kipyegon won in three minutes 54.87 seconds ahead of Diribe Welteji of Ethiopia and the Netherlands’ Sifan Hassan.
