A New Jersey teacher is accused of sexually assaulting a young student and later having a child with him when he was just 13 and living in her home, according to court documents.
A New Jersey teacher who has been charged with sexually assaulting a student repeatedly over a span of several years is also accused of having a child with that student.According to court documents obtained by FOX 29, Laura Caron, 34, is accused of having a sexual relationship with the student beginning as early as when the victim 11-years-old.
Police began their investigation after receiving a tip that the victim’s father had made a post on Facebook late last year claiming that Caron’s 5-year-old child looked like his son. According to court documents, Caron had taught the victim and at least one of his siblings, and the victim’s family later became friends with Caron. At some point, the victim and his siblings began staying with Caron for 1 or 2 nights a week, before they began living with Caron permanently from 2016 to 2020.
