The Rabbitohs superstar was summoned to an early morning meeting at South Sydney’s headquarters about off-field behaviour issues.
South Sydney fullback Latrell Mitchell has fronted the Rabbitohs board to explain his actions after he was phototgraphed standing over a white substance earlier this month.
The Herald captured exclusive photographs of Mitchell walking into the club’s Heffron Park headquarters in Maroubra on Tuesday morning.Nick MoirMitchell was joined by his manager ‘Wok’ Wright and his advisor Matt Rose to respond to the breach notice the Rabbitohs issued him last week. The Herald understands that Mitchell showed remorse when he fronted the club’s directors, apologising for his actions and bringing the club into disrepute.The club isn’t expected to comment until after the matter is concluded and the NRL determine when they will suspend Mitchell. However, Mitchell is expected to receive a hefty fine from the club and be issued a warning over his behaviour.
