The Latin Grammys are set to return to Las Vegas, with the 22nd annual awards show scheduled for Nov. 18 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Last year, the Latin Grammys were held in Miami in the middle of the ongoing pandemic with a “music makes us human” theme showcasing diverse stories of hope, community, sense of purpose and celebration. According to a statement from the Latin Recording Academy, they will"continue to exercise careful precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all attendees."
"We are thrilled to bring back the 22nd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards to Las Vegas to honor musical excellence," said, chief marketing officer and president of entertainment at Univision."Music is a powerful force in our community. It binds us together as a culture, inspires us and move us, and this year's show will celebrate our shared love of music with the brightest stars, unforgettable performances, and special moments that will entertain our audience.
The three-hour telecast will air live on Univision beginning at 8 p.m. ET, preceded by a one-hour pre-show starting at 7 p.m. ET., the Latin Recording Academy's Person of the Year will honor Panamanian singer-songwriter Rubén Blades. That gala will take place Nov. 17 at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
