Light freezing rain continues to fall from north San Antonio into the Hill Country and streets have begun to collect ice. Here's a look at the latest traffic updates.
was reported on the Loop 1604 exit ramp near Lookout Road. The crash happened just after 8 a.m. and early reports indicate the crash may involve as many as 10 vehicles. It has since cleared. A major crash was also reported along the frontage road of I-10 WB between US 87 and Christus Pkwy in Boerne. A portion of Interstate 10 at the Kerr-Kimble county line is closed on Tuesday morning due to a crash involving multiple 18-wheelers.
Early Tuesday, another major crash was reported along Highway 281 at Borgfeld Drive. SAPD said to avoid that area if possible. AMore freezing rain is expected, mainly along and north of Highway 1604, through Wednesday. Some significant ice accumulation is possible in the Hill Country.
