A former Labour advisor has criticised the"lazy narrative" that the party has not done well enough in the local elections, pointing out that the party was"in the toilet" after the 2019 elections. She called on Sir Keir to flesh out a positive case for putting Labour in charge in Westminster, adding:"The country is falling out of love with the Conservatives.
