Both Bafana legends in Pienaar and Benni have forayed into coaching, post their playing days where having set the scene alight as players in their respective careers.
Benni has taken to senior football with stints at Cape Town City and AmaZulu respectively, while ‘Schillo’ has cut his teeth at the Ajax Amsterdam academy, a place where both players made a name for themselves as players. With McCarthy, who was heavily linked to both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates currently out of a job, his long-time agent has provided an update on what could be next on the agenda for both Bafana legends.
“You know, we busy looking at what is Benni's, next move what would be appropriate. We are constantly reassessing Steven,” Rob Moore told the Siya crew.“I mean, Steven's just now completed his UEFA pro licence. It's a very significant step. And he's in the Academy of Ajax at this point in time. You know, but he's he's at the moment is happy with what he's doing.
