It's the end of the line for the flagship Theo Chocolate store in Fremont.

After 19 years of selling some of the best-known and loved chocolate in Seattle, the company says the Freemont store and Bellevue location will close for good on Feb. 16th. For long-time customers, the loss is a shock. “I’m just, I’m heartbroken. I love this store. I have so many special memories. We actually had chocolate from this store for our wedding,” said Britt. No reason has been given for the closure, but it was announced last year. Leading up to the last days of the store, the company has invited people to come for one last hands-on chocolate experience with classes and demonstrations. While Theo Chocolate will still be available online and at stores, for people who made the flagship store part of their lives, it won’t be the same. “We used to do the tours," said Britt. "My daughter was born, we would take her on the chocolate tour and when family came in from out of town, so it’s a very special place to us.”
