Newly released The Last of Us episode 4 images reveal one original game actor's return to the franchise. Based on the popular PlayStation 3 video game of the same name, the HBO adaptation stars Pedro Pascal as weathered survivor Joel Miller, who is tasked with safely escorting the precocious 14-year-old Ellie across a zombie-infested United States.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY HBO recently shared new images from The Last of Us episode 4, which reveal one actor's return from the original video game. 11 Images Close Jeffrey Pierce, who was the voice actor and performance capture artist for Joel's brother Tommy in 2013's The Last of Us game, as well as its 2020 PlayStation 4 sequel The Last of Us Part II, is set to return to the franchise in episode 4. The new images show Pierce dressed in military-style gear on patrol in a city, and also showcase a new survivor group and Joel and Ellie hiding out in Kansas City.

Although details surrounding Perry have been kept under wraps, it was previously revealed he will be a member of a violent hunter survivor group Joel and Ellie encounter along their perilous journey. With Melanie Lynskey announced as Kathleen, the group's leader, Perry may be one her top enforcers, tasked with tracking down Joel and Ellie as well as any other trespassers in their territory.

What Has Been Revealed About The Last Of Us Episode 4 So Far The Last of Us episode 4 trailer teased Joel and Ellie's next major obstacles, facing off against a new group of violent survivors. After acquiring supplies from Bill and Frank's heavily fortified sanctuary, Joel and Ellie head west in Bill's truck. But due to Ellie's inexperience in reading a map, the two end up lost and ambushed in Kansas City and must find a way out while avoiding a militaristic group hunting them.
