The orcas currently reside at Marineland Antibes, which officially closed on January 5th in response to legislation banning the use of dolphins and whales in marine zoo shows in France . This legislation will go into effect next year. These two orcas are the only ones left in captivity in France .
Keiko, a famous orca from the film Free Willy, sparked a global rewilding effort after his story touched the hearts of millions. Phillips, the head of the Keiko project, hopes that Keiko's story will inspire people to help Wikie and Keijo
