The NFL team will be without a starting cornerback for its Black Friday game.
Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Jakorian Bennett breaks up a pass to Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston during an NFL game on Sept. 8, 2024, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. The Raiders play the Kansas City Chiefs at 2 p.m. CST Friday. Bennett will miss that game and, under the NFL’s injured-reserve rules, also can’t play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Dec. 8, Atlanta Falcons on Dec. 16 and Jacksonville Jaguars on Dec. 22.
McGill-Toolen posted a 39-3 record and went to the AHSAA Class 7A championship game annually during Bennett’s three varsity seasons. But Bennett didn’t join the Yellow Jackets’ starting secondary until his senior season after a growth spurt.
