Vegas police are investigating an incident in which Arizona Cardinals' Kyler Murray was struck in the face after Sunday's win over the Raiders.
Sunday at Allegiant Stadium, quarterback Kyler Murray appeared to be struck in the face as he celebrated with fans in the north end zone.
The report says police confirmed that a battery complaint was made at about 6:30 p.m. at the stadium. The Cardinals were leaving the building near that that time. A spokesperson did not name Murray as the person who reported the incident, but confirmed the allegation was that “a spectator at the stadium struck a professional football player.”
Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury was informed of but had not yet seen any footage of the incident when he spoke with reporters Monday afternoon at team headquarters. He had pointed comments for the fan.
