A Las Cruces woman came to KFOX14/CBS4 for help after receiving hospital bills for a child that she didn't have.On top of being a full-time mother, student and employee Golden has had to deal with her sister allegedly stealing her identity and having a baby under her name.Golden found out her identity was stolen when she got a call from her insurance in May.

"I thought they were talking about my youngest because he has a speech delay...She was like, 'no, ma'am, like we're talking about the baby that was just born on the 24th.' And that's when I was like, 'mm, okay, you got the wrong person.'"Golden said her sister, who she does not speak to, had texted her saying she was going into labor at Memorial Medical Center.

When she was at MMC, Golden said she was told that she could not access records that belonged to the baby due to HIPAA violations. "The baby was placed into foster care, which I left him there just due to safety reasons," Golden said. "I can't bring the baby here or any of us of our family can take him because, at the end of the day, she'll try to come get him. So,
