Around 1 a.m., Grand Prairie authorities alerted Mansfield police about a driver going south in the northbound lanes of State Highway 360 near Ragland Road, police said. The motorist drove off the highway near the southbound U.S. Highway 287 service road and struck a gas pipeline. The driver, whose name was not released, was flown to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas with “significant burn injuries,” officials said.
