Sen. Marco Rubio is slated to join the president-elect’s administration as secretary of state in January, leaving his seat in the Senate open. Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law resigned from her position as co-chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, prompting speculation that she was preparing to take over for Rubio.

Ever since Lara Trump took the role at the RNC, she expressed that her goal was to just work for a single election cycle. She and Michael Whatley replaced former RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel early last year.Trump implied that people will only see “more” of her rather than less. After the inauguration on Jan. 20, she plans to make an announcement about what’s next in her career. Lara Trump has been a Florida resident for the past three years and has since started selling a line of workout clothes. Theincludes leggings, bra tops, muscle tees, and hats priced between $40 and $90. These products are made in the United States and sometimes feature patriotic themes of the American flag or red, white, and blue colors. Additionally, she launched her own singing career.
