Kesemua `13,000 kakitangan Malaysia Airlines diberi opsyen mengambil cuti tanpa gaji selama 3 bulan atau 5 hari sebulan selama 3 bulan.

Menurut dokumen yang dilihat oleh media tersebut, Malaysia Airlines menawarkan opsyen cuti tanpa gaji selama 3 bulan atau cuti 5 hari tanpa gaji setiap bulan selama 3 bulan bermula 1 Apr depan kepada semua 13,000 kakitangannya. Inisiatif sama juga diambil oleh syarikat penerbangan utama dunia termasuk Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific dan British Airways.
