We want to raise bonds this year,' LandBank President and Chief Executive Officer Lynette Ortiz told reporters at the sidelines of a Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines event on Wednesday.'We want P25 to P50 billion ... the proceeds will be to fund ... loan programs,' she added.
'How much? A trillion, I think, is what we're looking at,' she said with regard to the plans to raise LandBank's capitalization.Ortiz said that changes to the bank's charter should be prioritized as an initial public offering would take time.' IPO takes time, right? I mean, can you imagine the due diligence, valuation? ... those things will take a lot of time just because of the sheer size of LandBank,' she said.
