Lancaster City police are now working with county detectives and specialists in computer forensics and cybercrime to find out who sent the email.

Two days after bomb threats forced the evacuation of buildings in Lancaster, police are still looking for the person who made the threats. Those threats followed a suspicious package at the Lancaster Public Library and the cancellation of the Drag Queen Story Hour.Lancaster City Police say they brought in extra staffing and put precautions in place, which they say made a difference Saturday.

Two K9 units doing a planned sweep of the event area were alerted on a box, and the state police bomb squad responded. Police learned the suspicious package was an expected box mailed by the U.S. Postal Service to an employee of the library. It contained children's coloring books. After the package was cleared, someone emailed a bomb threat, which prompted the evacuation of buildings, businesses and homes in a several-block safety perimeter.
