Fulton Township supervisors pulled funding because the library has LGBTQ+ literature.

Two-time Olympian and Lancaster County native Johnny Weir is helping out the library in the town where he grew up.The figure skater said in a video posted to Instagram that he just learned that Fulton Township pulled its funding from the Quarryville Library Center because it has LGBTQ+ literature.

Weir announced he will match the township's annual donation for as long as he can.'Just to help save a community that raised me and to make sure that the library represents everyone, not just the few,' he said.He also urged people to consider donating to the library to show support for everyone who needs access to books pertaining to their ways of life.
