The crash occurred at 7:55 a.m. at the intersection of White Oak Road and Route 896. The victim has been identified as 47-year-old Nicholas Dewey of Christiana.CHRISTIANA, Pa. — A man is dead following a two-vehicle crash in Paradise Township, Lancaster County Friday morning, according to Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni.
The crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. at the intersection of White Oak Road and Route 896, and involved a sedan and a pickup truck, Diamantoni said in a press release. The driver of the sedan, 47-year-old Nicholas Dewey of Christiana, was pronounced dead at the scene. Dewey's body was found lying on the side of the roadway by responding police officers, Diamantoni said.Diamantoni said he will make a determination on Dewey's cause and manner of death following an autopsy, which will be performed at a later date.Before You Leave, Check This Out
