Josue E. Rivera, 42, of Lititz, was arrested and charged with raping a child under 13. Rivera confessed to police that he sexually abused the girl on multiple occasions at a Clay Township home. He faces nine felony charges, including rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, indecent assault, corruption of minors, and unlawful contact with a minor.
A Lancaster County man on Friday was arrested and charged with raping a child after he told investigators he sexually abused a girl on numerous occasions, according to an affidavit. Josue E. Rivera, 42, of Lititz, on Thursday told Northern Lancaster County Regional Police officers he raped the girl and touched her inappropriately a number of times at a Clay Township home.
Police did not include the victim’s age, but said she was under 13 when the abuse took place. It is unclear when the abuse started or how long it continued.Rivera is charged with nine felony offenses: one count of rape of a child, two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, one count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse – forcible compulsion, three counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13, one count of corruption of minors and one count of unlawful contact with a minor. Rivera is jailed at Lancaster County Prison after being unable to post his $100,00 bail.
