Additional security was added at a Lancaster County elementary school Monday after officials learned of a threat against a “list” of students. A student at Centerville Elementary in East Hempfield Township reported the tip.
Officials said the student’s family was contacted and they learned the student who made the threat did not have access to any weapons.“We are aware that rumors have circulated over the weekend, and we want to ensure our school community has accurate information,” the school posted on its website. “We commend the student who reported the concern and encourage all students to share important information with a staff member or administrator.
