Property prices fell faster in one Lancashire postcode area than anywhere else in our region last month.
It's the largest percentage drop of any postcode area in Lancashire where there were at least 50 houses sold in those 12 months. BB6, which covers Great Harwood, Langho, Brockhall Village, Old Langho, Clayton-le-Moors, Tottleworth, has seen the next largest drop of any postcode area in our region.The average home there cost £218,398 in the 12 months to September. That's a 3.38% drop compared to August.
The LA6 area of Lancaster, which includes Kirkby Lonsdale, Ingleton and Over Kellet, saw the biggest increase at 2.10% with properties selling for an average of £379,227. This was followed by L40 up 1.39% to £300,016 and then PR6 up 1.32% to £256,036.How house prices have changed in Lancashire That’s followed by the Cotswold town of Chipping Campden, where homes sold in the GL55 postcode area sold for an average of £649,112 in the year to the end of September. That’s 10.13% less than in the year to August. In the Hampshire village of Cliddesden, RG25, prices fell by 7.37% on average, while in Ambleside, LA22, they fell by 6.80%, and by 6.77% in S32 which covers the Derbyshire village of Calver.
