Norma Smith was walking her Pomeranian Cass down Cleland’s Chapel Street, at the corner of Main Street.
A Lanarkshire woman has spoken about the devastation of putting her beloved pet to sleep after it was allegedly mauled by two dogs .

Saying that Cass was left "in a terrible state," Norma added: “A lady who came to help got me in her car and we took Cass to the PDSA vets in Tollcross. They told me that Cass would need multiple operations and they were unsure she would make it.Norma was also taken to hospital where she received treatment for cuts to her hands.Now back home in Cleland, Norma is still shocked at what happened to her beloved pet.
