A young Lanarkshire mum who suffered from a heart attack while at work was saved by her quick thinking colleagues.
Carly's manager and co-worker worked on her for around 10 minutes before she was rushed to hospital where medics put her in an induced coma for five days. After two days, Carly suffered another cardiac episode, leading medics to discover a blood clot in her heart. She was then fit with a stent. Although she has not yet received an official diagnosis, doctors genetics may have caused the initial heart attack.Rangers fan Carly, who is mum to Brody, 3, is not yet well enough to work as she continues her recovery four months on, but fears she will be unable to return to the room she collapsed in while dealing with the trauma of the incident.
