Lana Del Rey made dreams come true during her headlining Coachella set on Friday night as she welcomed Billie Eilish on stage to perform two songs with her.
To her fans' delight, the Summertime Sadness hitmaker, 38, invited the 22-year-old Gen Z superstar to join forces in front of 100,000 festival goers at the annual music and arts festival held in Indio, California .
'That's the voice of our generation, the voice of your generation,' Del Rey raved. 'I'm so fucking grateful she's standing next to me right now, singing my favorite song of hers.' The 11-time Grammy nominee, who is considered one of the greatest musical storytellers of the 21st century, gave Eilish a sweet shoutout for joining her on stage
'And all these comments are like, 'I'm so glad that you guys are seeing through her.' And I'm like, 'Damn,' Eilish said. On a more serious note, Eilish told Del Rey if she ever 'felt like any part of the world was against you, nobody else thought that.'
