Frank Lampard reveals he tried to sign Declan Rice and envisaged him captaining Chelsea CFC
Frank Lampard has revealed his desire to sign Declan Rice during his time as Chelsea boss.
Lampard left Chelsea at the end of last season after taking over as the club’s interim manager in April.The Blues legend endured a difficult second stint at the helm as he could only guide Chelsea to one win in 11 games. Lampard – who is currently without a job – revealed his aim of bringing Rice to Stamford Bridge during his first spell as Chelsea manager.
