In addition to the ever-expanding number of academies in South Africa like the Celta Vigo Academy in Evaton, Sebokeng, as well as the RCD Espanyol in Johannesburg, LaLiga have also created possibilities for footballers in the form of LaLiga Camps.

Johannesburg and Cape Town in 2021 and 2022 were the first to host LaLiga Camps and now Durban is set to follow from 27 to 31 March 2023. “We are proud in Southern Africa to have played active part in the success of the LaLiga Grassroots programme and are very excited about the quality of the LaLiga Camps we have held to date in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
