Emily Deese, 34, is charged with two counts of attempted murder, a first-degree felony, and four counts of felonious assault, a second-degree felony.
North Ridgeville police responded to the 6600 block of Amber Way at 4:33 p.m. for a report of a woman assaulting her father. Police said officers discovered Emily Deese, 34, had stabbed her parents, James and Melanie Deese, multiple times causing serious injuries.North Ridgeville firefighters transported her father, 69, and mother, 67, to University Hospitals St. John’s West Shore Family Healthy, and their condition was not known as of Wednesday afternoon.
Deese is charged with two counts of attempted murder, a first-degree felony, and four counts of felonious assault, a second-degree felony. Elyria Municipal Judge Robert White did not set bond because of Morgan’s concerns that Deese could be a danger to herself and the community. Morgan estimated the bond for this instance would be $100,000.
