The team had until the end of Thursday to decide whether they’d guarantee Bamba’s $10.3 million salary for the 2023-24 season, which was non-guaranteed.Bamba averaged 3.7 points and 4.6 rebounds in 9.8 minutes in nine regular-season games with the Lakers after being acquired from the Orlando Magic on Feb. 9 ahead of the trade deadline. He only appeared in three of the Lakers’ 16 playoff games.
