BREAKING: The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed on a trade sending DAngelo Russell, Maxwell Lewis and three second-round picks to the Brooklyn Nets for Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton, sources told ESPN.Russell, who the Lakers drafted with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft, was in his second stint with Los Angeles after the Minnesota Timberwolves traded him to the Lakers in a deal that also sent fellow former Ohio State point guard Mike Conley from the Utah Jazz to Minnesota.
Russell previously played for the Nets from 2017-19 after the Lakers traded him to Brooklyn entering his third year in the NBA. The Nets traded Russell to the Golden State Warriors in 2019, but he spent only part of a season there before he was traded to Minnesota, where he spent just over three years until he was traded back to the Lakers.
