The Los Angeles Lakers are among the few teams that could be buyers as we approach the upcoming trade deadline. The Lakers are not in a good place as things stand, and much of it has to do with their roster constriction.The Lakers have been linked to many players thus far, and multiple teams have already checked in on one of the names they have eyed in the past: Charlotte Hornets center Nick Richards.Teams have recently checked in on the trade availability of Nick Richards.
Prior to the start of the season, the Lakers reportedly had an interest in Richards, but there was no indication of a deal heading in that direction at the time. The Lakers have been out and will continue to be without Jaxson Hayes, Christian Wood, and Jarred Vanderbilt for the indefinite future.
