One former teammate of LeBron James believes he should retire sooner rather than later.
As the Los Angeles Lakers enter the offseason, one of the biggest storylines surrounding them is the fate of star LeBron James. James has another year left on his deal but can opt-out with a player option to become a free agent.
During an appearance on ESPN's"First Take," former Cleveland Cavaliers-era James teammate Kendrick Perkins has called for the 20-time All-Star to retire sooner rather than later to avoid hurting his legacy any more than he already has. While Perkins has a platform, respectfully his take on this is wrong. James' legacy is already set no matter what else he does over the last few years of his career.
