, only 11% of curb ramps, 6% of sidewalks and 0% signal push buttons in Lake Stevens were compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The new plan would remove barriers to compliance. The city has a total of 2,679 sidewalk segments, adding up to 137 miles, along with 3,095 curb ramps and 97 signal push buttons.The plan has been submitted to the Lake Stevens City Council and Washington State Department of Transportation for approval.
