The Student Resource Officer will receive a national award for his response to a shot being fired in Riverview Elementary School’s parking lot on Thursday.
LAKE COUNTY , Ohio -
“The officer, utilized their training in observing a potential threat to students and acted swiftly and methodically to ensure student safety. We salute the officer and the department he serves.. Heroes still wear badges.” Lake County Sheriff deputies were called out to the school around 9:10 a.m. Thursday after the School resource Officer approached the vehicles where the shooting happened.
