Oscar nominee Stephanie Hsu has to deal with the fact that her exes keep dying in the trailer for Laid. Set to debut on Peacock in just a matter of weeks, the comedy series was first announced in January of this year. It comes on the heels of Hsu's Oscar-nominated performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once and her standout role in the raunchy comedy Joyride. But in her latest project, she plays a young woman that slowly comes to realize that all her exes are dying.

Ruby's exes gradually start to die off. The two-minute preview previews how, though she's not worried at first, Ruby eventually realizes that there is a problem and she thinks she might be that problem.
The Premise Of Laid Means An Impressive Guest Cast Ruby Has To Move Through Her Past ✕ Remove Ads With the help of AJ, Ruby comes to accept that everyone she has had sex with is dying. A true crime fanatic, AJ helps Ruby shift through her love life timeline and confront her past relationships for the sake of moving forward and hopefully keeping people from dying.
