Racial comments made by 'Dilbert' creator Scott Adams have spurred a number of newspapers to drop the office comedy comic strip in protest. The cartoonist then doubled down on Twitter.

The poll that Adams cited asked two questions: Do you agree or disagree with this statement:"It’s OK to be white," Do you agree or disagree with this statement:"Black people can be racist, too." The poll found that 26% of Black respondents said"no" to the first question, and 21% said they weren’t sure, which Adams concluded meant 47% had a negative response.

We are seeking a replacement for"Dilbert" and hope to have it for you soon in our newspapers."MLive Media Group’s Vice President of Content John Hiner suggested readers not look at the original vlog or look up Adams comments, suggesting they should"save yourself the poison."
