According to Hernandez, it takes two to three weeks to get COVID-19 variant results. There’s a chance that the patient has already recovered before learning that he has been infected with the Delta variant. “Hindi pa rin nawawala ang posibilidad na sila ay maaaring nakahawa bago na-test at na-clear, lalo kung nagkaroon ng exposure at close contact ,” Hernandez wrote in a Facebook post.
The governor reminded his constituents, including those who are already fully vaccinated, to be extra cautious and to follow the minimum health protocols.
