The defending MLS champs, who open the season Feb. 25 vs. the Galaxy at the Rose Bowl, have their home opener March 4 against the Portland Timbers
The reigning MLS Cup champions’ next act is taking shape.
Following LAFC’s previously announced season opener Feb. 25 against the Galaxy at the Rose Bowl, the Black & Gold will return to Banc of California Stadium for the first time since winning the MLS Cup when the Portland Timbers visit March 4. LAFC will appear on Fox three other times – at Seattle on March 18; versus Austin on April 8; at the Galaxy on April 18 – and twice on FS1 for home matches against Real Salt Lake on Oct. 1 and Minnesota on Oct. 4.
The Galaxy is the lone opponent LAFC is tasked with facing three times throughout the regular season.When LAFC heads north to meet San Jose on May 6, the match will take place at the 70,000-seat Levi’s Stadium, one of 11 U.S.-based sites for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
