The Black & Gold look to stay perfect in MLS as they take on their Western Conference rivals, who will debut their kit in honor of the martial arts legend

Credit the Seattle Sounders for saving the on-field debut of their Bruce Lee kit for when the Los Angeles Football Club came to town.

On Saturday, during a midday match at Lumen Field, Seattle will alternate their stark green look for a red-and-yellow combination that features a hand-drawn dragon across the chest representing strength, power, and, according to the club and Lee’s family, which had a hand in creating the kit, forward-thinking spirits.

Four weeks into league competition, this weekend’s nationally televised clash stacks up like so many of the big fights Lee inspired. Primed and ready to throw round kicks, the reigning CONCACAF champion hosts the reigning MLS Cup champion, both with something to say for themselves.
