Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn can be heard singing for the first time in a new Joker: Folie à Deux set video. The sequel to the dramatic crime story Joker is taking a turn, presenting the continuation of Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck's descent into madness with a musical twist. Joker: Folie à Deux will be the first full-blown superhero movie musical, and it has enlisted the talent of one of the world's best singers.
Although the singer/ actress cannot be seen in the video, her singing as Harley Quinn is clear enough and should tide fans over until DC officially releases the first look at a musical scene from the anticipated movie. While making Joker: Folie à Deux a musical was a shocking move by director Todd Phillips, it is also one that makes perfect sense for this iteration of the character, and the direction the sequel appears to be headed in.
